The sum of my undergraduate thesis at Emily Carr University of Art & Design, Tavo is a critical and systematic redesign of tablature notation for guitar. Frustrated with the lack of vital musical information that tablature has, I took it upon myself to redesign the system in order to include indications of rhythm, pitch, & dynamic information.
The year-long project culminated in a complete system redesign, print deliverables and an exhibit as part of the yearly graduate exhibition at Emily Carr. Included here are selected spreads and photographs of print deliverables.
